Problem with HTC Dock accessory for the HTC Evo 4G

This is the second time now that my phone battery has completely died, even though it's on the charger. The first time this happened, it shorted out the innards and I had to get it replaced by sprint (the whole phone). Now, it happened again and I just took insurance off my plan last night. Talk about bad luck

Anyone else experience this? I read online that it's a problem with froyo and the htc evo's charging issue.

Sounds to me like a problem with the dock, since it doesn't seem to happen to people who use the regular charger or charge it off a computer.

ugh. got it as a gift when it first came out. I guess I'll have to trash it.
