can't find downloaded folder in my gallary.

I am trying to save images from website of my phone, but I can't seem to be able to find my downloaded images anymore.

I was able to when I first got this phone, but it will not let me anymore.

I made sure I have show downloaded checked on my menu>settings.

Any ideas?

I have found my images on a file explorer I downloaded. But for some reason I am no longer able to find images in my gallary, so I can't set anything saved as my brackgrounds.

Please help, and thank anyone who has any ideas!


My phone is a HTC EVO 4g. (i just switched from apple 3gs.)

All of my downloaded images are under the gallery icon. I click on that and there's a folder named "Downloads." There all downloads, whether done over the internet, MMS, or Bluetooth, get stored.

Not sure why your download file isn't showing up in your gallery but you can try clearing cache and defaults. Then to change your background hit menu- wallpaper - select your file manager intead of gallery- select your pic and that should work.

Somehow my pics downloaded off the web all ended up here file:///storage/emulated/0/Download/
