Odd market issues & default settings

Was curious if anyone else has experienced this in their Evo.

The market is showing I have updates (google maps & handcent) I tried to update, but it always starts, then just stops. Doesn't say it failed, just stops. The list of "my apps" in the market now shows them as uninstalled, though they are, and working. When I tap on them to "install" google maps says there is an update, handcent says "install"...and neither do anything.

Other issue, sometimes, not all the time, my phone forgets which browser I have chosen for default. Is this part of clearing the cache on dolphin occasionally?

My phone is not rooted. Thanks everyone.

Having the same exact issues with the market on the Evo and Epic

weird, was reading some posts on the net, I guess the market issue is a google thing and usually fixes itself...hope that happens soon.

try uninstalling and then reinstalling those apps. I've seen that happen to me when an update fails midway.

I MIGHT be related to this. I was having the same problems before the error message mentioned here showed up.
I suggest...go to Manage Applications and clear the data from the Market app and then follow this thread where my problem was solved.
