how to turn off cell phone radio?

Guys is there a way to turn off ONLY your cell phone radio and leave Data on?

I remember my old htc touch pro with windows mobile was able to do this you had an option to turn off the cell service but keep 3g data on.

I was downloading a rom on my phone and then someone calls and messed the whole download up it was at 94%!!! lol sucked.

anyway any help would be appreciated, and please don't respond with go to settings turn off data, or airplane mode as that is not what i am asking.

There's no way to disable CDMA and only enable EVDO on the Evo.

You can go into airplane mode and enable wifi, but that's about it.
