evo screen going out, then coming back on with pressure... HELP!

hey yall, i recently purchased an evo and replaced a faulty speaker. Now every so often the screen on the evo will not light up and just stay black. This however is solved by applying pressure to the phone/ screen and then it comes back on. any suggestions? i did take the phone apart to replace the speaker like i said , but to the best of my knowledge i screwed everything back in securley and made sure i didnt touch/ damage anything upon disassemble / reassemble. any suggestions?

It sounds to me like one of the ribbon cables for the screen got a bit tugged out of its socket. I would try to disassemble it again and re-seat those cables.

Yes, TEP is the insurance.

Are you still having the problem? Have you tried re-seating the ribbon cables yet?

take it apart and reseat the three cables, make sure the clips that hold the ribbons in are properly seated also. Make sure all the Torx screws are tight and that the housings are snapped together and there arent any gaps.
