EVO - Keyboard in a future release?

Hello,

I have seen some thoughts on the keyboards, and personally that is all I have ever used (PPC-6600, Mogul), so for me I am a little weary on a display only keyboard.

I tried my friends Iphone, and it seems as if it is something that I could get used to quickly.

Does anyone know for 'sure' if after the release of the EVO, whether or not there will be a release (couple of months later) of a companion product that will have a slide out keyboard?

Kinda waffling on this.....

The Evo is just the first 4G phone. I'm sure there will be several more in the coming months. One or more of them are bound to have a keyboard.

I had the same concerns, coming from Treos and the Pre, but the EVO's touch keyboard looks so big and inviting!!
The physical KB is one of the things that attracted me to the Pre- but anyway, I'm ready to move on!

I was the same way, but on-screen keyboards have improved immensely. Not to mention the screen size of the Evo should make typing really easy. Personally, I prefer the KB on my ITouch over my Pre.

That being said, I'm sure future 4G devices will have physical KBs.
