Most of the time I use bluetooth, but there are times when I want a boom microphone for a business call and bluetooth just doesn't cut it for outbound sound quality.
After trying all the headsets in my little drawer of old cell phone tech (I had a few that had 3.5mm connectors), only one actually worked, and that was one that came with a Samsung phone, with the mic dangling from the cord. I can't stand those, not to mention I want a mono headset with the left ear free.
So I looked around on Amazon and tried the Cellet 3.5mm "over-the-ear" boom headset, which works perfectly. There's a answer/end call button on the headset which also starts/stops music and initiates voice dial (only the built-in voice dial, not a better 3rd party option unfortunately). It was only $7 shipped, not bad.
