What about the Htc knight/speedy/evo shift 4G? Is it real? When?

So is this thing even real? I would LOVE a G2-like device on sprint, heck ill even take that funky hinge.

But is this ever going to be reality? Or maybe it will be dislike the G2 in some ways but different in others? I don't know, but me likey and me want.

Anyone else thinking the same thing ?

The name seems a little odd. This looks nice, but from recent research its supposed to be a slightly downgraded evo with a keyboard. The HTC Hd7 seems waiting for though.

How does it seem downgraded? The 800mhz processor is not conpareable at the same clock speed as they are newer generation than the evos processor..

The newer snap dragons have killer speed at 800, when the older ones have to be clocked to 1ghz to match it.

And the smaller screen? Oh well, maybe a amoled or slcd.. No HDMI? Who uses it anyways ..

I kinda want to see this phone too. If its good I may bail on my epic, I love it but I like new toys

Wouldn't be quick on that assumption. Sprint is pushing Sprint ID pretty hard and that makes any phone very close to stock Android.

I really hope this won't have the same hinge as the Z, but it does sound like quite a good option on Sprint. I wish they'd use the Touch Pro 2 slide design.

If it is joined by the HTC 7 Pro that also looks like a good solid business device, and a potential larger slider running WebOS 2.0 flagship (rumors), that would be a tough choice on Sprint. C'mon January!

o man, I can't wait to see the actual device being released to for GSM networks like HTC usually does so I can go buy it when I get back to Thailand to convert from my HTC Touch Pro into android!
