Trouble with the headphone jack?

First off, I love this phone, but a problem has surfaced. The headphone jack was working as usual, then just the other day it started to have issues. What's happening is that the phone recognizes the headphones (icon appears) then after slight movement the icon disappears and I'm left with my music bumping through the speaker. I've tried different headphones, and the problem persists. I've also read in the OG EVO forum about the need to make sure your pushing the jack in hard enough, but I still have the problem. Advice?

Could you direct me to a diagnostic test? I'll be honest, I'm coming from the Hero and I've never heard of doing a diagnostic test. Go figure.

I think I would take it to a sprint store.

Yah take it to Sprint with the headphones and show them what it is doing they will fix it.
