Sprint HTC Hero to Verizon

so i have been searching around this fourm for the best way to do this or if it is even possible.
I have found roms for both teh driod and the hero but not sure if i should install a custom verizon rom or stay with a stock verizon rom, also if i do go custom what rom would be the best to go with.

So if someone could help me by letting me know
1. If the Sprint Hero can be flashed to verizon?
2. How it can be flash?
3. What is the Best rom i could use?
4. A Link to a How To on flashing the phone?

No, you can flash it to Metro if you'd like, no ROM needed.

Wow that is not what i wanted to here. i remember i had flashed my moto q9c over to verizon and gave it to my gurl. i guess what i mean is i flashed a verizon rom on the sprint q9c and they activated it. so i was wondering if i could flash a verizon rom from a driod onto the hero or not.

but i do remmber reading this thread from agu stating he was using a hero that was flashed to verizon

ok so i did abit more research and it might not be the droid but it is the droid eris that looks and preforms just like the HCT hero.
