easier way to play MP3 playlists?

I have my music collection neatly organized on my phone, into about 40 sub-folders (per album or collection) and with an .m3u playlist for each. But, with the default Hero MP3 software, I have to go through several commands in order to play them.

For instance:
> open Music app
> switch to selector window
> switch to Playlists
> (select playlist)
> select which song to start with

Is there a way to open the Playlists list directly, and for them to begin playing immediately (without also having to select which song to start with) ? Or, is there an alternative MP3 player that would do this?

Thank you for any suggestions!

Why don't you just convert them if you have to and move them to a different directory. Then you can play the music widget for the easiest access.

I do know that Mort player is a folder-structure based music player, so in general that will probably be more to your liking. However I'm not sure about creating a shortcut to your list of playlists.
This is going to sound like a huge pain, but this is one solution you can do:
1) Add to homescreen
2) Shortcut
3) Music playlist
4) Choose a playlist
Repeat for the playlists you want... then to consolidate you can add a folder to your homescreen and drag them there. I know, it sounds awful but it's just an idea.
