Bluetooth Pairing 800W and Hero

I've been banging my head against the wall since I got my Hero trying to get everything setup. The last thing I need to do is get my contacts (~50) from my 800W. I have moved contacts between phones 3 other times this year with no issues using bluetooth....but not the Hero

I keep getting the Treo as "Paired but not connected. Any Ideas?

HTC only includes a limited bluetooth driver/stack on the Hero. This is good in one way - it lets you install any other 3rd party bluetooth drivers and protocols on the phone. Bad in that none have been developed for the CDMA Hero yet. If you're running a GSM Hero, try Bluetooth File Transfer v2.0 Application for Android | Communication

Or you can just transfer your contacts to google and they will sync automagically to the Hero.

Google sync did the job wonderfully...not sure why I didn't try that earlier
