Force Close on texting

Does or has anyone else had this problem?? My phone was fine with texting last night then this morning I have a notification of a new text and everytime U go to read it the inbox says it's empty... I downloaded handcent sms and it let me read the text but I cant send anything.

I go back into my original text inbox and try to "compose" and it gives me a force close error.. Any ideas???

Try going in settings->applications, tap "all" tab, look for "Messages" app and tap on it then clear cache. I hope this helps.

How long since you rebooted your device, or should I say have you ever rebooted your device?

I tried that and I rebooted my device and it didn't help so I just wiped everything to out of box state and I havent had a problem :T
