I have a HTC A9S since January. I have had the same unlock pattern and pin since then and I have had no problem with the phone until now. Let me describe the problem.
I turned off the phone earlier to save the battery. When I turned it on again I was asked for the unlock pattern. No problem. I entered it and it was accepted. Next I had to unlock the sim using my pin. Again no problem, my pin was accepted. Now to start using the phone I must again enter my unlock pattern. But no! My pattern is not recognised. This is the same pattern that I have already entered after having turned the phone on.
I have repeated this process several times. It is Saturday, so I cannot talk to HTC live chat at the moment. Does anyone have any ideas?
