On contract vs off contract pricing

Since the trend is for people to purchase devices off contract to use with prepaid carriers, is it safe to say that on and off contract pricing will be as follows?

On contract:

32GB - $200
64GB - $300


Off contract:

32GB - $600
64GB - $700


Thoughts, or has this info already been posted online and I missed it?

This is why I'd rather have an SD Card slot.

Haven't seent any pricing but that sounds $50 too much for the off contract pricing. That or maybe I'm confusing it with what I'm hoping the pricing is.

Off-contract UK pricing is about $650. No U.S. pricing yet.

Your off-contract prices seem a bit too low. The DNA is $600 off-contract and the ONE appears to be somewhat more loaded from a hardware perspective and probably a more expensive unit to build.

Considering the Note 2 is what $700-$750 off contract right now, I cannot see the HTC One retailing for much more than that.

Maybe 32GB for $700 and 64GB for $800 at most, but since flash memory is cheap and this is not a "phablet" I think they will be more in line with my initial numbers.

Could just be me doing a little wishful thinking though .

650$ for the 32 750$ for the 64. The note 2 is 650$ I just bought one off contract recently. 650$ is the norm for a high-end phone thats 200$ on contract at AT&T anyway. They'll mark mid-range 200$ on contract phones at like 550$ ala the Galaxy Glide.

It wouldn't be that high if you got it directly from att wireless now best buy or dome non corp store yes i paid 540.00 off contract for the one x and the one x+ when they launched I see no diff here the 32 wil l be 540.00 and the 64 will be 599.00 or 640.00 tops this phone will not start in the 600's

That sounds about right, +/- $50 on the full-retail, unsubsidized price.

I agree, especially if you are on AT&T. There devices has always been as high as $549. And that includes devices that were offered with either 16GB, 32GB, and since the HTC One X+ has been out, 64GB. Apple on all carriers has been very overpriced with there devices, reason why they sell fast on Craigslist then at a retail store. The iPhone that's starts with 16GB of internal memory sell at a no contract price at $649. It would be ridiculous if AT&T had the no contract price as high as $600. It will make sense that they price the HTC One 32GB model at $549, and the 64GB model at $649. That sounds more accurate to me.
