AT&T Premiere customers HTC One Pre-order FAIL
Every year this happens...
- Go to website, click preorder
- Your given 3 options: New Account, Upgrade or Add a Line
- The correct choice is Upgrade. You are taken to your phone profile and you need to check for Upgrade eligbility
- The next page usually says "You're approved!" or "No, you can buy one at full retail"
- If your trying to buy one at full retail, you need to look it up in the devices but you're in the "Premiere" website
- Can't find HTC One
- Big middle finger to "Premiere" customers

Just walk into a store or call them. I pre-ordered my S3 last year and I'm a premier customer.

i went into a store today and they didn't even have a display model and knew nothing of a preorder. if i were you guys id wait until later today or tomorrow to order.

That's sort of the point. If it's available for preorder, then customers should be able to actually preorder it. It's not like they've never had this problem before.

I just placed my order through premier off contract 32gb was 599.00 not sure why others are having issues

I still can't preorder on premier site. 2 chats and 2 phone calls, a tech ticket and no preorder. I can get the phone in my cart along with accessories but the data rate plan section is completely empty. There's no place to choose "existing plan" or any new one. There was a ticket opened in for me and I was told to allow 48 hours for a solution.
UPDATE- Now after 5 hours the media link is out stock.

I got my order in finally after about 3 hours of trying but now when I check my order status it says "Attention!" but doesn't give any reason why.

This happens all the time for new releases for premiere customers. I'm actually surprised that people are surprised.

I'm not surprised.. was kinda hoping they'd have got their **** together by now though. Gone through this with the lumia 920, the note 2 and the one x so far. Never had these kinds of problems when I was with Verizon. Premier hardly seems worth the 15% I save sometimes.

Yeah I don't know why those don't get "premiere" level service when it comes to these things. It would seem these customers should get preference especially since most are just normal customers with corporate discounts so I don't even know why they are treated different in the system. They should be able to identify true business customers vs those with corporate discounts so they can be treated as such. But because of this, I wouldn't expect them to have it together any time soon. It seems more systematic that would have to do with this updating/changing the way they document and treat premiere. I'm guessing it's just not enough "noise" for AT&T to really care right now.

I cancelled my preorder through premier today and preordered the developer edition 64gb. Figured I was paying full price anyway and they're shipping before the 19th so might as well.

I might do this too since they messed up my price (399.00) and charged me for the Media link, so I called and they said they'll have to cancel the first order and enter it again. They will email me when done... That was 12 hours ago...

the media link was sold out last night when i tried to preorder so i went to a physical store after work today and they told me i had to preorder online. luckily it was in stock again about 3 hours ago and i was able to preorder the 64GB version with no problems.

I went through ALL of the pain described in this thread. With AT&T, the experience was TERRIBLE as a "premiere" customer, and they got earfulls from me.
I even even went to the store, and the people there didn't even seem to know what an "HTC ONE" was. One guy swore I was wrong and tried to get me an HTC First!! (Facebook phone)
Finally I got an agent on the phone, and she helped me for over an hour to get an order entered.
WHAT KIND OF LAUNCH DAY IS THIS???
Even worse, not trusting AT&T would actually deliver, I decided to order the developer edition.
Twice, those orders went though, only to be followed up an hour later with cancellation emails from HTC USA.
(Shaking head)
Overall, this is an HTC launch fail of the highest proportions.
Blame the carrier, blame HTC? Either way, this is egg on HTC's face.
My other phone is an iPhone 5, and in this whole area, APPLE is still miles and miles ahead, especially if you have access to an Apple store.
But, that's another debate entirely.
Anyone else had issues with developer edition cancellations?
My credit card company confirms they approved the transaction, which means HTC USA (shopamerica-dot-HTC-dot-com) cancelled the orders.

I can't cancel because AT&T rep said my order is processing and too late to cancel..they suggest me to return at AT&T store.
