Here is a comparison - my old Canon 20D DSLR (8.2mp APS-C sensor 22.2x14.8mm), Sony RX100 (20mp sensor 12.8x9.6mm), and the HTC One (4mp, 4.8x3.6mm)

Overall I think for a phone camera it is pretty good for purposes of sharing on the internet.

Thanks for the shots, all i can say is Dang, that Sony takes some nice pictures :) Not loving the noise and lack of detail in the one shots. Course it's not fair to compare it to the Sony.

Yes, the sony is very good for a camera I can cary in my pant's pocket. :) I highly recommend it.

But I think it may be a bit oversaturated. I should turn down the saturation. Honestly though I don't see much noise in the One photo? The thing that strikes me most is the blown highlights/dynamic range issues. The detail doesn't appear as fine but I think that is because the One photo is a bit soft on focus too - not sure if it was the slow shutter combined with movement of the subject or my shaky hands, but it isn't quite as sharp. But that was -1 sharpness too.
