Any Good Custom ROM's Yet?

Hey guys,

I've just upgraded to the One(AT&T variant) from a Galaxy Nexus, and had a few questions for all you tinkerers out there. First and foremost, how would you rate the difficulty regarding unlocking and rooting the device? Obviously I'm not expecting a one-click method like I had with the GNex, but how intrusive is it?

Secondly, I'm looking for a decent AOSP based ROM. While I can appreciate the Zoes, Beats, etc etc that HTC throws in with Sense, I'm still just too much a fan of good ol' vanilla android. Any suggestions you an throw my way? Big prerequisite for me would be the ability to turn the logo into a menu or search key, that'd be absolutely huge (Hate that black menu bar). Any thoughts/suggestions would be much appreciate.

I would recommend checking out XDA. That's where all the development is. All your questions should be answered there. There's also several threads here about rooting and unlocking of which most refers back to XDA for sources and information.

There are a couple decent sense based roms but nothing too far from stock at the moment. As for AOSP it might be a while and even when we get them it might be a while before the camera is functioning properly with them due to htc's special chip and software.
