Hey everyone,
Just picked up my Sprint One and am switching from the iPhone 4s. I had the original Captivate and loved the phone and Swype! I am a tech nut; mostly PC gaming. I like to get the most of my technology and am very new to this platform again and would like to get "up to speed.'
I purchased the Black HTC One and absolutely love the aesthetics of the phone. I choose this One for the aesthetics, it feels better in my hand (biggest selling point) and somewhat believe the S4 is the "iPhone" of Androids and prefer to go to something different; maybe having a little more "heart." So I am back again to Android
So far the rebooting of the home screens has been very frustrating. Back when I had my Captivate, I had a "task killer." Research I have done shows that Task Killers can be worse on the phone and performance as RAM is designed to carry load; not constantly kill and then reboot it. Is this accuraet? Is there a good way to disable apps that aren't being used?
Any major pointers?
Any must have Apps?
Cool stuff you do with the phone?
Again, I am a gamer nerd and love technology and want to get the most out of the phone. I have briefly used the IR for my TV, checked out the awesome camera and some options, uploaded all my pics and games. Now I just have to get involved with the Android community,, continue to learn, and look forward to hearing some expert advice for me!
I love the phone and the community, so....Hello!
