HTC Sense TV App - Channel Tuning Issues

I just received my unlocked HTC One today, and I've been going through a lot of the features. One that I have found to like a lot so far is the TV App, but my provider or TV views all channels as "half" channels. For example, USA is channel 58.5 according to the TV, while the TV App views it as being only 58, and the TV doesn't auto-adjust the channel to 58.5. I end up getting either a "No Signal" notification or a blizzard on my TV :(. This occurs with every single channel available through the device. Alternatively, I can select the channel (USA in this example) from the "Currently Showing" section, and after it sends the Channel 58 command, and press the Channel Up command and it will change to 58.5.

Has anyone else had this issue, and if so, is there a fix for it? My provider is Midcontinent Communications, and the TV is a Hitachi, though I don't think that makes much of a difference.
