Update available for Canadian Customers (Bell, Rogers, Virgin and Telus)

I just got my Rogers HTC one updated to firmware version 1.29.666.17 (from 1.29.666.17.5) brings ?system enhancements and bug fixes.?

So far I dont see major fixes, other than the sensitivity of the buttons...including volume. (mine was extremely sensitive)

Posted it in the Carriers sections, still don't get the need for it but anyway the update is great noticed it instantly.

Thanks for this post! I'm with rogers and I never even noticed I was able to update, it didn't push the notification.

I have a Telus HTC one, and I updated this morning.

Since the update non of my third party apps have access to location services.

Guys can u please help me, im having problems regarding OTA updates, i just found out that my htc one is rooted (i bought it 2nd hand), and i cant update it with the latest software, is there a way to update if my phone is rooted

Home and back buttons are fixed. Now it works even with my zagg screen protector.

I don't know if it's just me but I noticed a HUGE improvement in the battery life after the update. Normally by 11 pm I was at 30 % or less. Now I can get 50% or even more juice before I go to bed.

I noticed the same thing! Noticeable increase in battery life.

Also noticed that the device feels much cooler now. They certainly tweaked something!

I spent an hour streaming the NHL Playoffs, listened to Music for 4, Text and Browsed. Battery was definitely improved!
