EDIT PROBLEM SOLVEDgoing on holiday - how to enable wifi only but turn off network

Hi I'm new to these forums. Recently purchased an HTC One and I'm loving it. I'm heading abroad in a few days time and I will have access to WIFI in the hotel, but obviously I want to turn off my network connection so I don't receive costly texts and calls etc. At the moment I can "turn off mobile data" so that no 3G is being used although this still keeps my network on (i.e. I can still receive calls etc).
Is there any way to completely turn off mobile data AND network but still be able to keep WIFI on? I notice "airplane mode" turns off everything including WIFI.

Any help will be appreciated

EDIT: I think I just solved the problem. I turned on airplane mode then turned on WIFI and kept mobile data off. I'm assuming this is how to do it.

Hit airplane mode, then toggle your wifi.

Edit: yeah that's it. I was trying to post but lost signal for a bit.
