I read a post on the S4 forum the other day on data speed test and was wondering what kind of speeds that the HTC ONE gets. Some say that the ONE will not be as good as other phones because of the metal body. I am not starting a ONE vs S4 thread I just wanted to know what kind of speeds that the ONE is getting. Here is one I run the other day at my home in Robertsdale, Al about halfway between Mobile, Al and Pensacola, Fl.

Well I think Alot of the speed is going to depend on who's your provider and location.

Well I did a test right after I got mine. The speed I got using my one was better than I got with my EVO lte. I don't think the metal body has any effect on performance of Network.

Yes I understand that. I was just wondering what kind of speed it get with the full metal body. Also if anyone has the ONE and another phone that they can test in same location would be nice.

It is still going to get great speeds. It really honestly depends on the network.

My speed is testing horribly with Sprint. I just ran 4 tests between 5:12 - 5:16 PM and the results were:

Download: 5.72 (low) - 11.48 (high) mbps
Upload: 5.81 (low) - 9.47 (high) mbps
Ping: 42 (low) -67 (high)

I know Sprint is not as good as Verizon and ATT but these numbers stink. I did run a test earlier and got 16 and change down but still.

Holy cow, 59 mbps. The most I've gotten with sprint is @12 mbps but my city isn't officially LTE yet.

Translation = Sprint SUCKS!

Don't ask me why I've been a faithful customer since '06. When I upgraded my phone a few weeks ago I should have upgraded my carrier as well...5-12 mbps :mad:

Getting consistently around 14Mbps with TMobile HSPA. Lte will be here this month, and I am expecting double that consistently with LTE.

Wow bro really???? Lol 1 your market probably isn't finished. 2. Tower location and population. 3 compare your numbers to people WITH NO 4g and and non nv 3g lol sad but true. I'm always in LTE land though lol.

Are you in a launched market? Mine is still in testing but getting closer to launch and my speeds are showing it... Before I got the same 5-10 Mbit.. The other day around the block..

Upload still a little low but /shrug. I'd take that any day.

Buffalo NY. If I'm south of the city at work, it is around 50/20Mbps. At home a bit north of the city it is worse though. 15Mbps average.
