Problem with 'Recently added' playlist on HTC one?

I've a playlist with the google music app which is called 'Recently added' - It's not one that was synced from iTunes. When I drag and drop stuff it shows in the playlist for about a second then vanishes to a default from a few months back - the tracks are there but I've got to search for them...any ideas?

I have got the same exact problem. Also the songs that are in the recently added playlist are not recently added and have been in the playlist for months!

I've been experiencing this problem too. did everyone here update to the latest jelly bean ?
I started having this issue after i updated.
