Simulated battery pull

My phone was acting up last night and I wanted to do more than just reset. So I attempted the simulated battery pull. But after holding down the power button and getting the notice that it will shut down in 3 seconds, nothing happened.

Anyone else have this?

No, but have you had this problem since you figured out it was the battery app causing your other issue?

i've had the app for a while, the gsam battery monitor, and i have done the simulated pull before. not for a while. i don't know if an update is the culprit. but a good point.

This does not appear to be a setting in the Gsam app, any other thoughts? I have restarted and still cannot get a simulated battery pull which I do on occasion when a few things go awry.
