Some tricks that I found for our lovely HTC One. Feel free to add more if you have discovered something.

1. Background in text message app
2. Switch toggles using two finger shortcut
3. Phonebook browse by letter shortcut

9. Save memory by using USB OTG
10. Turn on multitouch
11. Dial *#*#4636#*#* to force 4G/LTE

For tip #7 the gesture must be enabled in the home button setting under Display, gestures and buttons settings.

if you've got 4.3 and you swipe down from the status bar with 2 fingers it'll automatically bring up the quick toggles.

These tips actually created using 4.2.2 version. You guys using 4.3 you can post some of your tips here too :)
I don't have 4.3 yet :(

Yeah, us one owners that are stock never got a taste of 4.2.2. I guess because those particular JB's went stale.....but HTC pulled through and bought us a new bag.

Will probably available for us in last week of Oct. hopefully.

Re: the music player, I use N7. I like how unique this player is and equalizer is superb. Though I like the stock player for its simplicity.

#TIP

Use swipe up from home button to lock screen saving your power button's life. No root needed

Install screen lock from the play store. make sure that "Swipe up for Google Now, press and hold for menu" is set in Home button settings. :)
