I'd say yeah lol. It's a great phone and if you don't mind the Google playstore for your apps then you're set

At this point in time there aren't any real disadvantages to having Android over iOS anymore. The app situation is pretty much on par now. On top of that, Android has less restrictions, Sense 5 is sleek and super fast, the One has the best design/build quality on the market, the audio on this thing is outstanding, and the screen is just the best display on a smartphone. On top of that, the battery life is pretty decent and you get a wide angle front facing camera. The HTC One is the best all around smartphone out there, easily.

Isaak all I can say is you have a fantastic piece of hardware with some really nice software in your hands. Please just don't get impatient with it. Take the time to familiarize yourself with everything it can do and I think you'll enjoy the experience. To be honest, I've been using Androids for a while now but I'm even finding some really interesting things the ONE can do. There's a thread from a couple of days ago where someone posted 15 "tips and tricks" and I was totally unaware of 5 of them that are really neat. Like, hold your finger on the Home button and swipe up and it will bring up GoogleVoice search or, in my case, it launches my Speaktoit Assistant which is free in the Play Store and I find it to be a worthy adversary for Siri. Almost anything you may miss from iPhone has a Google alternative but you pick and choose each function as a separate app. That way you only install what you want and need and don't gum things up with a lot of crap you'll never use.

Picture it as the difference between an expensive, price-fixed, 5 course dinner at a fancy restaurant where everybody gets the same food vs the biggest all-you-can-eat buffet you've ever seen.

I have been a die hard iPhone user since 2007 and have purchased every model, but decided a few months ago to get the HTC One, which I now use instead of my iPhone 5 and have absolutely no regrets. Everything app I used on my iPhone is available on Android.

Take it from me, Isaak. I used an iPhone for three and a half years. I switched to an HTC One, and yes, it was hard at first. The first week, you will be in danger of flaking out and going back to the iPhone. No one will blame you if you do. Well, the more mature members won't. You'll get the childish chimpanzees who will sling insults, but every forum has those less developed.

However, I stuck with it, and once I started using widgets and customizing it more, I was hooked hard. I will do without a phone rather than use an iPhone again. Unless someone gave it to me for free or something.

If you stay with it, I think you will really appreciate what this phone can do, and you will be rewarded greatly in the end.
