Can anyone tell me how I can check what HTC One variant I have (U/UL/WL)? I read on some forums that I have to fastboot it or something like that. Can anyone elaborate for me or is there an easier way to check what variant I have?

Typically, you can find identifying information in the phone's "About" section which is typically near the bottom in Settings.

If you want more information, use ADB (if you don't how to get it going, use the search on the forum or Google about it).

While you phone is connected to your PC, type adb reboot bootloader and wait for your phone to reboot into bootloader mode. Once there, you can perform fastboot commands like getvar. Type fastboot getvar all and you will see all the information about the phone, including the product variable which lists the model you have.

    Here's an example:

    Code:
    version: 0.5
    version-bootloader: 1.44.0000
    version-baseband: 4A.13.3231.27
    version-cpld: None
    version-microp: None
    version-main: 1.28.401.7
    version-misc: PVT SHIP S-OFF
    serialno: HT35FW919922
    imei: removed by me
    meid: 00000000000000
    product: m7_ul
    platform: HBOOT-8064
    modelid: PN0710000
    cidnum: 11111111
    battery-status: good
    battery-voltage: 4245mV
    partition-layout: Generic
    security: off
    build-mode: SHIP
    boot-mode: FASTBOOT

You can see the model information in the BootLoader Screen.
    1. Disable the fast reboot in battery settings.
    2. Shutdown the phone.
    3. Hold the "Volume Down" button while pressing "Power".

You can get your model, series, manufacturer date and factory as well as carrier by google. Search with keyword: "htc warranty check".

If you go to Settings, then scroll down to the bottom of settings, it says About, Tap about. Next, Tap Phone Identity, it's usually near the bottom. Now, look at the screen and you should see your HTC one model under Phone Model. If it doesn't work I'm sorry

    Hope it works! 😃
