I've been using the speech to text feature on my phone ever since I first got it 6 months ago.
However, today I opened my messaging app (stock) and I was looking for the little microphone key beside the space bar, and it's missing.

I use Google keyboard and I haven't changed any settings. The speech to text feature is literally non existent now.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I've reinstalled Google keyboard, played around with all the settings, but I just can't figure out why its gone.

Not sure why it would have done that, but try this: Goto: Settings>Language & Input and scroll down, make sure check mark is in "google voice typing."

So I ended up hard resetting my phone, and it seems to have fixed the issue.

This fixed it for me. Go to settings>app manager...swipe left to ALL Apps>Google search.....enable. Thank you very much for your help!
