Got the HTC one yesterday after selling my Iphone 5. I was loving it until today when I found out I can't play the music off it via my car usb because the mass storage option has been removed. Bluetooth works but its not as good quality and you don't get all the options.

Is there an app or any way I can restore the mass storage function other than rooting it and changing the rom?

If you don't get any other suggestions that work for you consider an iPod Touch.

I think if you enable Developer Options you will get what you need for usb connection.

Don't remember offhand how but do a search , you will find it.

Found the Usb logging option. Turned it on but doesn't make any difference.
