Where do downloaded email attachments go?

Ok, this is making me crazy.

When I open an email attachment, such as an xls or pdf, I get a message saying the document/item has been stored in my phone's downloads folder.

However, said folder does not seem to exist. I have something called Downloads in the app drawer, but those email attachments aren't in there.

I frequently need quick access to these items when I'm out and away from my desktop, and I don't want to dig through a bunch of past emails to re-download the attachment.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

By default it goes to the download folder in sdcard0 (your phone's internal storage) . You can download a file system navigation/management app like ASTRO File Manager in the Play Store to get there.

Thanks! Looks like ASTRO File Manager is going to do the trick. Much appreciated!
