    Developer Editions are devices with no added 3rd party UI/OS layers to Android. And before you ask yes like a Nexus but Google was not involved in the development of the device.

    developer edition comes with 64GB of internal storage, an unlocked bootloader and its unlocked to use with any carrier.

    the google play edition is an unlocked htc one with a pure android experience (the developer edition does have Sense).
