What happened to my battery?

I was away from my phone for a few hours and came back to a black screen. It wouldn't turn on and I was nervous that it was broken. Plugged it and it started charging. Any idea why the battery drain so quickly? Pictures of usage and history. It's weird how the phone's screen wasn't on and the phone was barely awake during the time when the battery plummeted. GSAM didn't offer anything helpful
