HTC One contact problem

I have this issue and so does my friend on his max, if you have Facebook contacts on sync as in sync exsisting, when you go to messages on either hangouts or stock text app and go to contacts through the app if gives you all your Facebook contacts. But If I go onto people via the people app or the phone app it is just my contacts and is all synced up and fine.

I was wondering if any of you guys have had this problem and have you fixed it?

enabling facebook contact sync in your facebook account does not mean they will appear in your people/phone app.


for that, you have to enable facebook contacts in those apps as well.

It is enabled in Facebook and on sense but just as existing contacts. There is no setting for the apps as in text apps to say you want just your existing contacts showing.

Are you trying to see your Facebook contacts in the People app?

Open People upper left corner "mine says phonebook", pull down this tab and select the groups you want to appear in your people app list.
