Google Now from HTC One 4.4 lock screen with bluetooth activation

I have a rooted HTC One, on AT&T, rooted with a stock rom. When my lock screen is engaged, or the screen turned off, if I hit the button on my bluetooth headset, I get a voice dialer. If my screen is unlocked, I get google now. Does anyone know of a way that I can get Google Now from my bluetooth headset button when my screen is locked/turned off? Spent hours searching for a way to do this, but nothing seems to work. Some message threads said to disable the "S Voice" app, but I cant even locate that in my "All Apps" list. ANY help is greatly appreciated.
