Why is "HTCDM" using so much WiFi?

Hello I have a set limit as to how much WiFi I'm allowed to use per month. And I noticed that in 2 days HTCdm used around 1.2 gigs! What is this!? I looked it up and its just device management. Any guesses as to why it would use so much? Hope you can help!

Did you happen to download an update for your phone in the past two days? There's some conflicting information on what HTCDM is, but more than a few sites say it's the HTC Download Manager.

At the time I do believe I did. Didn't even think of "download manager." Makes sense. Thanks for the info!
