Cracked Camera Lens and now Purple Tint

Hi,

I have a HTC One M7. The rear camera lens cracked after a few days from new in June 2013 for no apparent reason and I have lived with in since as it didn't affect the picture quality. However, all my pictures now suffer the purple tint issue and look grainy. I cannot get any sharp pictures.

Any suggestion on what i could do? Do i send it back to HTC with the cracked lens where they'll no doubt charge me for the repair.

Purple tint a is not because of the crack. It's a well know issue with the m7 and can't be fixed unless sent to HTC.
