Why am I unable to update my Htc One from Sprint?

Htc One Sprint update failure

Hi. I have recently bought a 2013 HTC one m7 sprint and it has the initial release software on it. when I want to update my phone it downloads the first OTA which is the 1.29.651.10 version and when I try to install it the phone restarts and the it goes in recovery and it says installation aborted with the error can't mount SD card and file not found ... Does anyone know why this is happening? please help

Try clearing the cache partition, reboot in to OS and apply the update again.

I have the same problem but with VM HTC Desire 816. I keep getting a red triangle with an exclamation mark. I tried the wipe Cache method but no luck. Here's what mine says:
