    I love my M7 with Beats and don't consider my phone obsolete. I need to get Marshmallow installed but don't want to have to root it. Advise...

    You might not - but HTC considers the M7 obsolete, don't expect Android updates over the air. You will have to root (provided you can even find a compatible Marshmallow ROM for the M7)

    I don't even have Lollipop yet and its already obsolete? Does that mean I will never get Lollipop?

    Where & When will be a compatible ROM for the M7? Who actually provide it and will the M7 on its current specs will be able to carry it along?
