    Hello all,

So, I decided to root my device when I found that after 4.4.4 update, hboot was updated and the command:
    fastboot boot some_custom_recovery.img
so I can boot a temp recovery was disabled, I would like to ask, will actually flashing a custom recovery using:
    fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
work? If after flashing a custom recovery then flashing SuperSU then flashing stock recovery, will I be able to get OTA updates? And what is the worst scenario here as I have read that people get stuck with boot loops and other problems here and there?

    Thanks in advance..

To answer only some of your questions, yes, the command
    fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
will work just fine. Regarding installing SuperSU and then flashing stock recovery again, I do not really know but I'd say that installing SuperSU edits system files somehow and must ruin OTA updates, but I could be wrong.

@benny, that command stopped working after the hboot update that came with 4.4.4.

Then someone needs to update the recovery. Captain keeps ours updated for Sprint and it works just fine, I used it 2 days ago.
