HTC One (M8): Notification light? :D

I didn't see the new video, but I saw a screenshot. Did anybody else catch what looked like a larger, purple notification light? Sorry, but maybe I'm way too excited about this haha.

A more robust light that's capable of colors seems like a great change. Lightflow rules.

Yes I saw it too! I was hoping I was seeing things, but as he showed it from different angles, it looked illuminated.

I think the notification is just as important as anything else on the device. It could be done really good, and really bad - hopefully good on this device.

There is a possibility that its just one of the sensors on the phone that is giving off UV light that can only be picked up by cameras?

I thought i've seen that in other phones/videos with a continuous purple light

EDIT: Here's a video i found with a similar thing on the Galaxy S4 (when i guess originally they didn't know what the light was)
