Do you have a pair of high end headphones? I have the original One and the built-in headphone amp does wonders with my v-moda Crossfade LP. I can't go further than 70%-75% volume because I would become deaf.

I can't find is the M8 has a headphone amp after they keep the Beats branding out. It would be great to confirm that it has this amp. Thanks!

I have M-100s and previously had the note 3 with fiio e07k hookup. The M8 is not only louder than my note was, but drives the headphones without an external amp or dac easily (and sounds nearly as good). Best internal amp I've heard in a while.

The speakers are significantly louder than the M7, as well as clearer. Audio improvements all around.
