Are you talking about Chrome? Chrome doesn't have a homepage button. You can set a homepage, but that will only come up when you open a new tab. Other 3rd party browsers (like Dolphin, I think) have a homepage button.

You have to hit the three dot drop down menu in the top right corner, and from there go into bookmarks. This is the only way I know how to

Anyway - the drop down list that the three dots yields did have a homepage link button at the very top position. Gone now on the M8.
