Is it safe to do this for charging?

So when I take my M8 off the charger when it reaches 100%, it will go down maybe 3 or 5% after I use it lightly. Is it okay to plug it back in for that 100% charge?

When your phone hits 100% it's good to leave it plugged in for another 15-20mins if you can because it still does a little more charging. I read that before so I've been doing that for awhile.

That's because it trickle charges once it hits a certain percentage. So it keeps it topped off constantly when plugged in.
