HTC One M8 (mms sending and receiving problems)

Hey everyone,
I'm new to this forum but was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem. I recently bought an htc one m8 off of ebay and signed up for Straight Talk as my provider. I ported my number and everything seemed to work fine. However, when I recieved a multimedia messaging service (mms) message I was not able to download and view it. Also, most of the friends that have iphones will send me mms messages when they are converted from iMessage. I have talked to customer support for both HTC and Straight Talk and went over my Access Point Name (APN) settings multiple times and updated everything I can think of. I was wondering if anyone had experienced similar issues or had a clue about what I could do to try to fix this problem.

If your previous phone was iOS you must call apple and have you remove your # from their MMS server. They love you and don't want you to leave their ecosystem.
