GSAM Battery Screenshot - How is my battery holding up?

Folks,

I have read through a whole bunch of threads regarding Battery Life etc and some users getting over 3 days whilst some averaging out 10-12 hours on a single charge. Either way compared to my old Samsung the battery seems to be markedly improved.

I have screenshots from GSAM below and have had the phone since Monday. Wondered if someone could take a look and give me their thoughts. I have used the phone for general browsing, play store app downloads, emails, forums, internet, you tube videos and photo apps amongst some other general activities.

If there is any particular screenshot that would help you more, please do let me know.

I attribute your steep decline in battery life on the chart screen to be a result of your video viewing (where the screen is constantly refreshed, brightened, darkened, and activating the gpu at a higher setting), and your app downloading in the play store. Since your phone is new, and your probably still feeling out and testing out different apps from the play store your download activity is probably a bit higher than it will be in the future. Once your comfortable with the apps on your system and how its configured you'll probably start seeing longer battery life. The downloads use up battery from quite a few sources at the same time (cpu, disk, and wi-fi or mobile). I'm guessing a lot of the screen battery use may be from your video viewing, but I'll ask the following screen setting related questions anyway: What is your screen brightness set to? What is your screen time out set to? Have you gone into phone settings and enabled any power saving options? In your location settings what do you have set (specifically what mode have you selected there)? Have you enabled Wi-fi optimization? What carrier are you with? Part of the Android System battery usage is probably from Dalvik (which expands apps every time you open them, and re-compresses them when you close them) you may want to experiment with ART as the runtime engine to see if it works for as it not only saves battery when opening apps, but also makes the system start faster. A bunch of small little tweaks can quickly result in many more hours of battery life.

Screen Timeout is set to 1 minute (currently )- I should have checked that before.. Silly me!

Screen Brightness is set to 1 bar (currently) - It was on 3 bars when the videos were playing etc (yesterday) and after reading through a thread I set this to 1 bar.

Wifi Optimisation is set to: "Minimize battery usage when Wi-Fi is on"

Auto-Switch to mobile network is: OFF

Carrier: Vodafone UK on 4G (One of the best for coverage across the UK and beyond)

Power Saving Mode and Extreme Power Saving Mode: Toggle switch which I toggle on and off to activate.

Location Mode: Battery Saving.

I had continous You Tube Music videos playing whilst changing after a shower for around 20 minutes yesterday. Other than that I used KIK quite a lot and Whats App, Browse and all the aforementioned things..

I have the Screen Lock and Off App and manual turn the screen off when not in use for long periods. Most of the time I am on my phone doing something or another (wrestless I suppose or habbit!)

I have added some more screenshots if these help.. The Wakelock I have no idea what that means but will research around and find out.
