SIM Card Issue

Here recently, as of this past week, I have been getting the SIM card error. Where the icon shows then the message saying preparing SIM card. I have not downloaded any new apps so I am not sure why this is happening.

I am on AT&T 4.4.2, any thoughts or advice?

Umm, did you check the SIM card it self?

Yes but only get this error at my house, but I did check.
