I'm trying to change my notification sound and it's not changing. I hit a different sound that I like and I click on apply and it still revert back to the same one that I had previous. I need help

Is this on the main Settings>Sound & Notifications menu, or within a particular app's own settings? Are you selecting a preinstalled tone, or one you copied to the phone?

Are you using a theme from the (Themes) app? If yes, open the app.

Then open the side menu (3 horizontal lines, top left corner)

Scroll down to (Personal) and open (My themes)

Open (My current theme) scroll down to (Notification) and open it.

Blank page, Open (Sounds) from the top, Select a category.

Check the notification sounds in the selected category, you can play them online.

Download the notification sound you want to set.

After that the Download button will change into Apply, tap on it, and that's it.
