My HTC ONE M8 has water damage dont want to send it any help

This is going to sound really stupid but i got back from school and my phone was in my blazer pocket when I was at the toilet in school and it kinda fell in the toilet... So Immediately I took it out took the case off and dried it. it was working fine but I could see the water inside the screen now it wont turn on I don't have uncooked rice only precooked will it work? any tips are great it happened about 6 hours ago please help me not sure if my dad had insurance as well.
