So, I'm currently using a 6 plus but am thinking of coming back to android. The 6 plus just isn't as customizable as I'd like and flexible. So I'm thinking of switching my brother for his htc one m8. But I'm not sure if that's a bad trade or not or if I'm just better off paying 400 for a moto x. Is this phone still going to be updated from att?

I'm on the Verizon version and it's still a powerhouse of a phone. I'd have no problem buying it today if I didn't already have one.

If not for the non-removable battery (I won't own a phone like that) I'd be using an M8 right now. It's a good phone. (I switch batteries every month, and that's a lot of work on an M8.)

HTC is also the only company that won't automatically void the warranty if you root the phone or flash another ROM to it (unless the problem was caused by what you did). Most companies wouldn't replace a button that fell out if you rooted the phone.

I'm in the process of trying to sell my 6 plus because I just purchased an m8 for 300 bucks. I love my iPhone but I grew a bit bored of it and lollipop is so awesome. Plus I like having an SD card slot in it. Also [redacted] is pretty cool.

Oh and I'm hoping you are getting money on top of that m8. The m8 is nice but I would never trade my 900 dollar IPhone for an m8. Maybe the m9 but not the 8.

I was about to say the same thing! The 6 Plus is a pricey phone.
